President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the most difficult situation due to power outages remains in seven regions of the country. It is reported by TASS.

As the Ukrainian president said, in many regions of the country, in order to stabilize the system, it was necessary to switch to emergency power outages.

“Most blackouts as of Monday evening were in Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Khmelnitsky and Cherkasy regions,” he said.

Earlier, Ukrenergo announced that emergency shutdowns would be introduced in all regions of Ukraine due to the effects of shelling. The company clarified that, first of all, electricity will be supplied to critical infrastructure facilities: hospitals, water utilities, boiler houses.

Since October 10, the Russian Armed Forces have been attacking military and energy facilities in Ukraine. This was a response, in particular, to the explosion on the Crimean bridge, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
