The European Union (EU) is ready to provide the necessary assistance to contain the consequences of damage to the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP). This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba in his Twitter account.

He made such a statement following the results of negotiations with the head of the association's foreign policy service, Josep Borrell. “The EU is ready to provide the necessary support and humanitarian assistance to mitigate the consequences of this Russian-engineered disaster,” the Ukrainian minister wrote.
