Moscow protested to Brussels from Belgian weapons in Russia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation summoned and expressed a strong protest to the Belgian Ambassador in connection with the facts of the use of Belgian weapons in a sabotage raid on May 22 in the Belgorod region. “On June 6, Belgian Ambassador to Moscow M. Michilsen was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, who was strongly protested in connection with the revealed facts of the use of Belgian-made weapons by sabotage groups that carried out terrorist attacks on the territory of the Belgorod region on May 22,” the ministry said.

The press service of the Foreign Ministry explained that Moscow has repeatedly spoken about the danger of pumping the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Western weapons and equipment, and uncontrolled spread and falling into the hands of terrorist groups.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at a press conference in Kyiv that the country's armed forces do not use weapons from Western countries to strike at Russian territory.
