President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky predicted big problems with drinking water in the Dnipropetrovsk region due to a breakthrough at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station (HPP). He spoke about this at a press conference broadcast by the Ukrainian television and radio company "Suspilne" ("Public").

According to the head of the republic, there may also be problems with drinking water in the territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions controlled by Kyiv. “From 35 to 80 settlements will be flooded. (...) The consequences will be clear in about a week, when the water leaves,” Zelensky suggested.
