The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, drew the attention of the world community to the prompt reaction of Western states to the situation around the Kakhovskaya HPP and their year-long silence on sabotage on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. In her Telegram channel, she noted that accusations against Moscow of blowing up a hydroelectric power station appeared in just a few hours.

“Now a question for the world community: the conclusion about the alleged involvement of Russia in the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station was made by the West less than a couple of hours after the incident, but what about the Nord Stream? It will soon be a year since the terrorist attack, but the Western regimes, directly and indirectly involved in the situation, are stubbornly silent,” Zakharova wrote.

Information about the partial destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station appeared on the night of June 6. As noted, as a result of the emergency, many settlements were under the threat of flooding. At the same time, Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka are among the cities that began to be flooded.

Earlier, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that allegations about the involvement of the Russian forces in the situation around the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station are contrary to common sense.
