The American company Apple has completely completed the transition of its computers to ARM processors. This was reported on the corporation's website.

After the presentation of WWDC 2023 on June 5, the IT giant updated the site and removed the mention of computers based on Intel processors from it. Also, these devices have disappeared from the current line of the Apple online store. Thus, Tim Cook Corporation completed the transition to Apple Silicon processors in less than three years.

The latest desktop computer of the American brand based on Intel was the Mac Pro, the ARM version of which the corporation introduced on June 5th. The professional device was valued at least at 6999 dollars, or about 565 thousand rubles.

At the same time, users will still be able to purchase computers based on Intel. Such devices are available in the refurbished devices section of the Apple website and from resellers.

Apple released the first computers based on its own M1 processor in November 2020. They were MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and Mac mini.

Earlier, the American company Apple introduced an updated computer MacBook Air. The device received the largest display in the history of the line with a diagonal of 15 inches.
