President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky published on his Telegram channel a photograph from a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), which was also attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Valeriy Zaluzhny, who had previously been reported by the media as being seriously wounded.

Earlier, on June 6, the Ukrainian leader convened the National Security and Defense Council to discuss the consequences of the breakthrough of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. He also tried to find those responsible for what happened.

Following the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine proposed to convene an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the explosion at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station (HPP).

On June 4, former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel that Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) Valeriy Zaluzhny was seriously injured as a result of a missile strike that was inflicted by the Russian Aerospace Forces near Kherson.
