The Ukrainian counteroffensive looks like a performance to work off the money allocated to Kyiv by the United States and its partners, Olga Kovitidi, a member of the Constitutional Committee of the Federation Council, believes. In her Telegram channel, she noted that the authorities of the republic do not care about their people or the country as a whole.

“[Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky is an actor playing the president. And this is the biggest misfortune of Ukraine, because the fish rots, as you know, from the head. That is why it makes no sense to expect any sense from the widely publicized counteroffensive by Zelensky. The so-called “counterattack” is a bloody show organized by Zelensky for American sponsors who filled him up with weapons to the crown of his head,” Kovitidi wrote.

As the senator pointed out, such a show will not help Kyiv defeat Russia. She also added that the North Atlantic Alliance would not be able to do this either.

Earlier, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that the second day the counteroffensive continues and the Ukrainian military does not achieve any success.
