German chancellor assesses Biden's chances for re-election

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is confident that United States President Joe Biden will be re-elected for a new term in 2024. It is reported by Reuters

“I think Biden has a very good chance of being re-elected,” Scholz said at the 25th WDR International European Forum in Berlin.

Scholz stressed that Germany has a very close transatlantic relationship with the current US president. At the same time, he added that Berlin is ready to cooperate with any government in Washington.

US presidential candidate, Republican Nikki Haley expressed the opinion that among the liberal elites there is an understanding that US President Joe Biden will not retain the post of head of state even if he wins the 2024 elections.

Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov believes that US President Joe Biden will probably not be able to run a successful re-election campaign in 2024 due to his health condition.

On June 2, Joe Biden fell at a graduation ceremony at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado. A few hours later, the president hit his head while exiting the helicopter.
