German Chancellor Scholz called the collapse of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station a "new dimension" of the conflict in Ukraine and accused Russia of undermining the reservoir. This is reported by the publication Stern.

At a forum in Berlin, the politician did not directly accuse Russia of creating an emergency, but expressed the opinion that what had happened "corresponds to how Putin is waging this war," and also suggested that failures during the NWO could have prompted Russia to blow up the hydroelectric power station.

"That's why it was so important that we support Ukraine - financially and also with arms supplies.. > and it remains important to demonstrate that we will do this for as long as necessary, so that there is not always a further escalation step," Scholz said.

On June 6, the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, said he was shocked by the unprecedented attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant (HPP) and blamed Russia for it, noting that the destruction of civilian infrastructure “qualifies as a war crime,” and added that the EU intends to “bring Russia to justice.”

In turn, the acting governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, expressed the opinion that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could strike at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station with the task of diverting attention from the failures during the “counteroffensive”.
