The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Ukraine has called for an urgent convening of the UN Security Council due to the breakthrough of the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station (HPP). It is reported by TASS.

The plan itself was put forward by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, the procedure for Kyiv's actions was approved during a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
