The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, said he would visit the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) next week. This is stated in Grossia's statement on the agency's website.

“My trip to ZNPP next week was planned and is now needed. I will go,” wrote Grossi.

In a statement, Grossia stressed that after the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, there is no immediate threat to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

On June 4, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, could visit Moscow, but there were no concrete decisions on this issue yet.

On the night of June 6, in the Kherson region, the upper part of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station was destroyed near Novaya Kakhovka. Dozens of settlements, including Kherson and New Kakhovka, began to be flooded with water. Russia and Ukraine accuse each other of destroying the dam.
