The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) destroyed a wrecked German Leopard tank so as not to leave it to the Russian military as a trophy. Denis Pushilin, Acting Head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), announced this on the air of Solovyov Live.

According to him, about ten days ago, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to break through the defenses in the north of the republic, for this they used the Leopard tank. “For us, this technique is important to study. What happened: while our tanks advanced to pull out the wrecked Leopard, two more Ukrainian tanks pulled up, ”said the head of the DPR.

Pushilin said that the Ukrainian tanks did not repel the attack, but began to destroy the Leopard. “For them, it was the main goal to prevent the tank from getting to our units,” he added.

Earlier, Pushilin announced the torture of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to go on the offensive in different sectors of the front in the DPR. According to him, the Ukrainian military are trying to probe the line of defense.
