Footage of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station (HPP) after the collapse of the dam appeared on the network. The video, citing Ukrainian sources, was published by the Telegram channel "Military Korps of the Russian Spring" ("RV").

The footage shows how the hydroelectric power station looks like after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) on the night of June 5-6. Due to the destroyed valve, water is discharged downstream.

The shelling of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was confirmed by the mayor of Novaya Kakhovka Vladimir Leontiev. He specified that the object was hit around 02:00. As a result, shonors were damaged - this is what common people call valves. He called the incident a terrorist attack, the details of which will be studied.

The incident at the HPP was reported by Telegram channels. Later it became known about the collapsed dam.
