Russian "Bears" flew over the Barents and Norwegian seas

Two Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers (according to NATO codification: Bear-H - “Bear”) flew over the neutral waters of the Barents and Norwegian Seas. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense in Telegram.

It is noted that the flight lasted about five hours. Fighter escort was provided by the crews of MiG-31 fighter-interceptors of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Northern Fleet.

“Long-range aviation pilots regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean. All flights of aircraft of the Aerospace Forces of Russia are carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
