American businessman Elon Musk, during a conversation with 2024 presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr., broadcast on Twitter, said that during his recent visit to China, he discussed the regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) with the country's authorities.

“We had very productive discussions about the risks associated with artificial intelligence and the need to regulate it. As I understand from these conversations, China intends to introduce domestic measures to regulate artificial intelligence,” the entrepreneur said.

He also warned the Chinese authorities that creating too powerful a superintelligence could be risky for the country's sovereignty.

Previously, Musk predicted the use of artificial intelligence for military purposes. The billionaire said that throughout the world, artificial intelligence will be used primarily for the development of weapons.
