The current Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, will be removed from his post if the right and left opposition voters of Germany unite. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Sergei Simonov in an interview with the FAN. According to him, the representative of the Left Party Sarah Wagenknecht can take the place of the head of the country.

“Such an alliance is possible, moreover, according to various polls in recent months, the voters of the parties “Alternative for Germany” and “Left” would vote in the next elections for the political force of Sarah Wagenknecht, if such a party were created by the next elections. Polls show that this is a quarter of all votes in the future. That is, qualitatively more than the Social Democrats of Chancellor Scholz have today, ”said Simonov.

He added that it is not yet clear whether Wagenknecht will be able to realize its potential in practice. In addition, according to him, the success of the opposition politician will depend on the country's economy.

Earlier, Wagenknecht, on the air of the radio station Deutschlandfunk, said that she considers the obsession of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with increasing arms supplies and creating a coalition on fighter jets to be false.
