Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko said that Moscow welcomes the efforts of any states that are aimed at a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian crisis. This is how he commented on information about Indonesia's plan for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, TASS reports.

According to the diplomat, the Russian Foreign Ministry has no official data on this issue, but the ministry heard about it from media reports.

On June 3, at the Shangri-La Dialogue security conference in Singapore, Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto proposed a plan for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. His plan states that each side should withdraw 15 km from their current positions, in which to place international peacekeeping forces.

Later, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko stated that the plan proposed by Indonesia for a peaceful settlement of the conflict, including a ceasefire, the creation of a demilitarized zone and the deployment of international peacekeeping forces, would not work and would help Russian troops gain time, regroup, gain a foothold and build up forces.
