The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan detained a group of people suspected of attempting a coup. The portal 24.kg reported this with reference to its own sources.

The report says that a group of people was preparing to seize power by force. The names of possible conspirators are not named.

Earlier, according to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, it became known about the training in Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine of members of illegal armed groups who were engaged in a coup in the republic.

In March, Georgia reported that foreign agents took part in the spring protests in the country. The head of Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party, Irakli Kobakhidze, said that foreign agents "self-lustered" after the start of rallies against the law banning their activities.
