US presidential candidate urged to force Ukraine to make concessions to Russia

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy opined that the U.S. should force Ukraine to make big concessions with Russia in order to end the conflict. He said this on the air of the ABC News channel.

Ramaswami noted that the job of the American president is to look after the interests of the United States. In his opinion, military support for Ukraine is a less important goal than building relations with China, since the No. 1 threat to the US military now is the Sino-Russian alliance.

“Continuing to arm Ukraine, we are pushing Russia into the hands of China,” the politician said.

Ramaswamy believes that in order to resolve the conflict, the current "lines of control" in the "Korean War-style" ceasefire agreement should be frozen, as well as NATO's commitment not to include Ukraine in the alliance. In his opinion, in return, Russia will have to withdraw from the military agreement with China.

Ramaswamy, 37, a health and technology entrepreneur, announced his candidacy for the Republican Party's presidential nomination in February 2023. He has made it his priority to "completely separate" the US from communist China, which he claims is a greater threat to America today than the Soviet Union during the Cold War, as the PRC produces "the shoes on our feet and the phones in our pockets."
