The Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas of Angola, Diamantinou Azevedo, and the Minister of Petroleum of Gabon, Vincent Massassa, left the OPEC building, where the OPEC + member countries will hold talks. This is reported by the publication "Interfax".

It is noted that the ministers did not answer journalists' questions about the outcome of the talks.

According to Interfax, the topic of negotiations was the change in quotas of African countries in favor of other OPEC countries due to the inability of the former to achieve the level of oil production agreed within OPEC+.

Earlier, the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia said that journalists have no idea what is being discussed in OPEC +.

Prior to this, OPEC + participants discussed an additional reduction in oil production by another 1 million barrels per day.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said that the OPEC + countries at the meeting, scheduled for June 4, will determine what is best for the oil market.
