An explosion sounded in Melitopol, Zaporozhye region, on the afternoon of June 4, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia,” said in his Telegram channel.

The incident was confirmed by the administration, it was heard in the south of the city. The details of the explosion are still unknown.

UPD: later the city administration clarified that the explosives previously found in the caches were detonated in a controlled manner. “The event is held in compliance with all safety standards. The situation in the city is calm," the city authorities explained.

The day before, on June 3, Berdyansk was fired upon with Tochka-U missiles, all of which were shot down by air defense systems.
