VGTRK war correspondent Andrei Rudenko spoke about the destruction of a platoon of American special forces in Ukraine. He published his comment on the situation in the Telegram channel.

He noted that the liquidated were elite mercenaries. Rudenko chose not to disclose the place and date of the clash.

“I know for sure that in one of the directions (I won’t write which one) our special forces destroyed an entire special forces platoon, consisting of specialists from the United States,” the military commander explained.

According to the reporter, the American authorities were concerned about the fact that during the conflict in Ukraine, Russian military personnel are growing professionally, while American "sitting in the rear and degrading." For this reason, the United States sent its soldiers to Ukraine to gain experience, but the result did not live up to expectations, Rudenko admitted.

On May 26, military correspondents announced that military installations in Ukraine were the target of a combined attack by the Russian Aerospace Forces. Then it was clarified that Shahid / Geran unmanned aerial vehicles managed to reach the Poltava and Sumy regions of Ukraine.
