Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Natalya Pipa went to the police and wrote a statement against a man who sang Viktor Tsoi's songs in Russian. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

On her Facebook page (banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned), she stated that she wrote a statement to the police on June 2 against a man who performed Tsoi's songs in the center of Lvov.

It is specified that the young man did not respond to the deputy's request "not to break the law and not to sing songs in Russian", which prompted the woman to call the police.

Earlier, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maxim Buzhansky refused to speak Ukrainian on the air of the Kiev24 TV channel. He stressed that the state guarantees the free development of other languages, while "half the country speaks Russian."
