The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are ready to launch a counteroffensive. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

“We firmly believe that we will succeed. I don't know how long it will take us. To be honest, it could go different, completely different. But we are going to do it, and we are ready for it,” the Ukrainian leader said.

He stressed that he would like to get some more weapons before the counteroffensive, but "Ukraine cannot wait for them."

Earlier, Zelensky complained about the lack of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems. The politician said that Kyiv cannot receive not only the required number of complexes, but also missiles for them, as it is in line for delivery.
