In Ukrainian sources, footage of the first Leopard tanks transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) received from Western states, which allegedly are already near the front, appeared. The photos were published in the Telegram channel "Military correspondents of the Russian Spring" ("RV").

It is noted that so far no one has seen this type of equipment near the line of contact. It is assumed that the Ukrainian military may deliberately not use them in combat in order to further use the tanks during the planned counteroffensive.

Earlier, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, Mark Milley, said that American Abrams tanks and F-16 fighters do not use the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the counteroffensive. According to him, the aforementioned technique is intended for a long-term strategy to contain Russia.
