The head of the Desnyansky district state administration of Kiev, Dmitry Ratnikov, on the air of the Rada TV channel, turned to the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, offering him to resign together after he blamed the heads of district administrations appointed by the administration for the situation with the bomb shelter closed during an air raid President Vladimir Zelensky.

“I read about your desire to remove me from my duties during the investigation. I propose to write such statements together, you and I, at the same time,” he said.

According to him, they both represent the interests of the inhabitants of Kyiv, respectively, together they answer to them. Ratnikov pointed out that, according to Klitschko, the heads of district administrations are responsible for everything that happens in the city. “Therefore, the question arises – what then is the mayor responsible for?” - he asked.

Earlier, a petition appeared on the website of the President of Ukraine, in which Klitschko was accused of “flagrant irresponsibility” and demanded to be temporarily removed from his post.
