As part of the planned rotation, the Russian military, weapons and equipment of combined arms and tank formations began to arrive in Belarus. This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, reports TASS.

It is noted that measures are being taken to increase the defense capability of the Union State. Another Russian anti-aircraft missile system S-400 has been delivered to the Armed Forces of Belarus.

“Personnel, weapons and equipment from the combined arms and tank formations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are arriving on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in a combined way,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Earlier, the chairman of the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus, Lieutenant-General Ivan Tertel, said that control was tightened in the republic along the entire perimeter of the country's border. He clarified that at the moment the Belarusian security forces are implementing measures to strengthen the counterintelligence regime along the cordon.
