Acting head of the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR) Leonid Pasechnik in his Telegram channel spoke about the signing of a decree on the formation of a regional government.

“The supreme executive body was created in full accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, it will take over the functions of the previous government and head the system of executive bodies of the LPR,” he wrote.

It is noted that Sergei Kozlov became the head of government, and his deputies and 18 ministers were appointed.

Earlier, the head of the Department of Administrative and Environmental Law, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor of Luhansk State University named after Vladimir Dahl, expert of Independent Public Monitoring Konstantin Afanasiev noted that the laws governing the election of deputies of the People's Council of the LPR and its municipalities are of paramount importance.
