The speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Oleg Nikolenko, responded to the call of the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to prevent the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He published the corresponding entry on his Facebook page (a social network banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).

According to him, Kyiv will be ready for peace negotiations only after "the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine."
