SBU detained an agent of the Belarusian KGB

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced the detention of an agent of the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus, spying on the northern border of the country. The department announced this on its Telegram channel.

According to the secret services, the citizen of Belarus had a residence permit in Ukraine and lived in the Rivne region. After the start of a special military operation (SVO), he was recruited by the KGB and carried out intelligence activities against Kyiv.

The SBU claims that the man walked around the border area and observed the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU).

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian special services, Vasily Malyuk, confirmed Ukraine's involvement in the explosion on the Crimean bridge. He said that according to the traditions of warfare and the importance of this path for Russia, Kyiv "implemented certain measures."
