Russian developer of software for face recognition and intelligent video analytics NtechLab will create a neural network in Russia to search for missing pets. This is reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the company Alexander Thomas.

It is specified that the developer has already released the first version of the pet recognition system. The version intended for pets is being prepared for testing in several Russian regions.

It will be possible to use the program using the Telegram bot, application or website.

“It is assumed that people who have lost or found an animal will be able to upload a photo of it, and artificial intelligence will compare the pictures,” Thomas explained.

Previously, a team of scientists from the California Institute of Technology created an artificial intelligence-based SAIS system to train surgical skills. The program will allow young doctors to study the effectiveness of their own work without the presence of third parties.
