To work with anti-drone guns, specialists undergo lengthy training, so a non-professional is unlikely to be able to cope with it. In addition, the use of such guns by untrained people is quite dangerous and can lead to serious consequences. This was stated in a conversation with Lenta.ru by a military expert, combat veteran, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin.

In Russia, anti-drone guns began to be sold on online platforms. If desired, for 140 thousand you can buy a gun "Harpy", for 500 thousand - "Pars". This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash.

“An untrained person with such a gun will not cope, so this is just another way to pump money out of people. Just like military uniforms were sold for a lot of money during partial mobilization, ”Dandykin recalled.

According to him, working with an anti-drone gun not only involves lengthy training, but can also be extremely dangerous. Especially if a non-professional took up the matter.

A drone can target someone who's fiddling with a gun, so that's something to keep in mind. I understand that many people now have a certain zeal, but this is not worth doing.

The military expert recalled that anti-drone guns work due to the effect of electromagnetic radiation on the drone. When hovering, the drone is disconnected from communication with the operator.

Recall that on May 30, drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow region. According to the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, as a result of the drone attack on the city, several buildings were slightly damaged, no one was seriously injured. In turn, the governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov said that several drones were shot down on approach to the capital, the air defense system worked.
