Russian kamikaze drones of the Privet-82 aircraft type have successfully passed tests in the zone of a special military operation (SVO), now they are being equipped with a warhead and are being prepared for combat use. This is reported by TASS with reference to the design bureau (KB) "Oko".

The drones were tested on the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR). The flight range and radio channel of the drone, as well as its resistance to the effects of local electronic warfare systems, were checked.

The first combat use of Hi-82 will take place in the coming days, the developer specified.

Earlier, Vadim Zhernov, co-owner and CEO of Oko Design Bureau, said that Hi-82 kamikaze drones would be sent to the front line from single rear hubs. Due to the large range of the drone, about 30 kilometers, the hub can be based not on the line of contact, but in the rear. Thus, the launch of the drone is carried out 15-20 kilometers from the front line from the launch point, which can serve several units at the same time.
