Experts predicted refusal of people at the reception in hotels

Economist, futurist Kirill Ignatiev said that until the early 2030s, the trend to simplify certain procedures will rapidly develop. For example, it is possible to refuse people at the reception and control at airports, the expert gave such a forecast during his speech at the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia conference (CIPR-2023) on Thursday.

He explained that in hotels, he said, the functions of the reception desk will be automated. It will be absent in the form in which the guests are accustomed to seeing it now. Ignatiev stressed that the development of 5G and 6G mobile communication technologies will simplify interaction scenarios with the surrounding space. In particular, digital creativity will improve, we are talking about the development of ChatGPT.

“From the point of view of the development of communications and social networks, a strong breakthrough will occur when everyday things like glasses or lenses to improve vision get access to the Internet,” the futurist said.

According to the economist's forecasts, unmanned vehicles will also develop in the coming years, which will begin with the freight transportation segment. And by 2035-2036, it will also occupy the passenger niche, Ignatiev suggested.

The expert also suggested that in the near future, many companies and startups will be associated with a healthy lifestyle, personal nutrition and medicines.

Earlier it was reported that at the conference in Nizhny Novgorod on the first day of the event, 33 agreements were signed between key market players, federal and regional executive authorities. Also presented was the Russian tablet Kvadra_T, an automated service system for civil aviation equipment, the first completely Russian vessel traffic control system for ports.
