Since one of the ideas of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine is to fight against fascism, the participants in the tribunal after the end of the conflict may be, among other things, the states that suffered from this ideology during the Second World War. Israel, Belarus and others can become such. This was stated by State Duma deputy Svetlana Zhurova in a conversation with Lenta.ru.

“Those countries that have already suffered from fascism or may suffer from it can take part in the tribunal. These are the CIS countries, the same Belarus, just like Israel. What is important for us is that fascism has spread its wings again and is moving around the planet, but we condemn this, genocide. I don’t know if Israel will be our partner during the tribunal, but it definitely suffered during World War II. On the other hand, Poland, which also suffered, is unlikely to take part in it,” Zhurova said.

The MP also did not rule out the participation of Hungary, which presents quite different opinions regarding the Ukrainian conflict. “Serbia could also participate in the tribunal. Partly China, which at one time seriously suffered from Japan, ”the politician admitted.

Earlier, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev announced the preparation of proposals for the creation of an international tribunal for Ukraine. The senator also said that the conduct of a special military operation was due to counteracting aggression from Ukraine and the NATO military bloc behind it.
