The American company Tesla has changed the rules for selling new cars. This is reported by the publication Electrek.

Experts have suggested that the company will no longer charge electric vehicle batteries to 100 percent for safety reasons. Electrek found that many shipping companies require that electrical equipment carried by water should have a battery no more than 20-50 percent charged.

To compensate for possible inconvenience, the corporation offered new users coupons for free charging of Tesla cars at Supercharger stations.
