The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) received another batch of Su-34 front-line fighter-bombers from the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec state corporation). This was reported in the Telegram channel of the company.

“The KLA handed over to the Russian Aerospace Forces another batch of Su-34 front-line bombers. These beauties were made at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov. The aircraft passed a complex of ground and flight tests and were handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense,” the statement said.

It is noted that the Su-34 is an important part of the strike power of the Russian front-line aviation. Aircraft have enhanced combat capabilities that allow the use of advanced weapons. This will make it possible to increase the range of destruction of surface and ground targets, as well as to expand the conditions and accuracy of bombing.

In May, TASS, citing a source in the military-industrial complex, reported that the FAB-250 high-explosive aerial bombs, which are in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces, have been turned into precision-guided munitions. Bombs are used from Su-34 fighter-bombers during a special military operation.

In November 2022, Military Watch magazine named the Su-34 the favorite of the Russian Ministry of Defense. According to the magazine, the Ministry of Defense annually received about 14 Su-34 units.
