Roskosmos plans to change its own logo. This is reported by TASS with reference to the federal portal of draft regulations.

The agency recalls that at present the logo of the state corporation is an image of a red arrow, symbolizing a space rocket, located on top of a gray ellipse representing an orbit. These elements are located on the background in the form of a dark blue circle, which is proposed to be removed.

In May 2022, Roscosmos temporarily changed its logo, replacing it with a red star. The change of the symbol of the state corporation was made in memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War, in honor of the great achievements of the USSR in space and as part of the support of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.

In September 2015, the state corporation announced the winners of the contest "Vostochny is our cosmodrome" in the nominations "Logo" and "Slogan".
