The cumulative charge KZ-6 on a drone that got into a residential building on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow during a morning attack is capable of penetrating armor. Military expert Alexei Leonkov spoke about this in a conversation with Lenta.ru. He also named the technical features of this ammunition.

“Shape charges are used primarily to hit armored vehicles. But at the same time, they can be used, if we are talking about civilian objects, to break through them. Or, for example, [attack] an oil depot or some kind of storage. [Projectile] pierces metal shells, the shaped charge causes a fire. They have a big fantasy about it. It is clear that there are no armored vehicles in Moscow, but in order to achieve some effect with a lot of smoke, a fire, they could attack something so that it burned and was visual, ”he explained.

The charge model became known earlier on May 30. KZ-6 is not designed to defeat manpower or to fire.
