The Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (TsNIItochmash), which is part of the Kalashnikov concern, delivered an automated target complex "Indicator" to one of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex (OPK) of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the concern.

It is noted that the complex in the modification "Indicator-1" and "Indicator-2" was developed at TsNIItochmash on its own initiative. The complex was certified and entered into the State Register of Measuring Instruments. This allows the use of the "Indicator" in accordance with the requirements of GOST RV 8.570-98 when testing weapons and military equipment.

“Indicator-1 and Indicator-2 are designed for non-contact measurement of the coordinates of bullets in the target plane and the calculation of the characteristics of accuracy and accuracy of fire from military small arms from them,” the report says.

The operation of the complexes is based on the principle of acoustic location of the shock wave. When a bullet is flying at supersonic speed, the shock wave that acts on the target plane and acoustic sensors leads to the appearance of electrical signals in them. They allow you to determine the point of impact on the target online and display this information on the monitor. After the end of the shooting, the calculation of its accuracy and accuracy is performed automatically.

The "Indicator" complex includes a computer, an analog-to-digital converter, an acoustic target and a cable. Modifications "Indicator-1" and "Indicator-2" differ in the shape of the target body and the location of the acoustic sensors. "Indicator-1" received a square body, and "Indicator-2" - U-shaped.

Earlier, RIA Novosti, citing a source, reported that the first batch of the latest 6P72 Udav pistols of nine millimeter caliber would be assembled by mid-June.
