Former member of the European Parliament, French politician Florian Filippo believes that NATO is adding fuel to the fire in Ukraine in order to support the conflict and cause an explosion around the world. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.

Thus, Filippo commented on the statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Ukraine will sooner or later join the alliance.

The politician said that "for the sake of peace" NATO must be immediately stopped. He called on France to leave the alliance.

Filippo has repeatedly called for a settlement of the protracted crisis on the territory of Ukraine, fueled by the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from France.

Earlier, Filippo expressed the opinion that the conflict in Ukraine is not unfolding according to the scenario of the West, and it must be stopped.

Currently, a special operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continues in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced its beginning. According to him, the purpose of military action is to demilitarize the neighboring country and denazify its authorities.

The decision to conduct the operation was the reason for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
