State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said in his Telegram channel about the degradation of the Western political system and its leaders. In the message, he mentioned the accusation of former US President Donald Trump of a multi-million dollar fraud.

“And these people teach the whole world how to live!” Volodin emphasized.

The Chairman of the State Duma believes that the political system of the West has degraded along with its leaders, who, according to Volodin, "have not only lost their authority, but also become defendants in criminal cases and scandals."

The MP also noted that Western politicians are held accountable for far less serious crimes than those that actually took place.

The Associated Press previously reported that former United States President Donald Trump is facing "multiple charges" of falsifying business records, one of which is a felony.

It is assumed that the former head of the White House will appear in court on Tuesday, April 4, and then the indictment will be officially announced.
