Alexander Khodakovsky, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the DPR, announced that the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was repulsed by two former Ukrainian traffic police officers. He spoke about this in his Telegram channel.

According to him, along with the police was a seriously wounded marine. They steadfastly held on and fought until the enemy retreated, and only after that they began to evacuate the fighter.

Khodakovsky clarified that the law enforcement officers were previously subordinate to Kyiv, but after the territories came under the control of Russian troops, they did not leave with the retreating Armed Forces of Ukraine.
