French President Emmanuel Macron is going to hold talks with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi in the near future. This was reported by TASS.

“The Presidents of France and Ukraine discussed the alarming situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, a few days after the visit of the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, with whom Emmanuel Macron will talk in the near future,” the message says.

Earlier it was reported that the words of the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi that shells with depleted uranium do not pose a radiological hazard speak either of his incompetence or of his bias. According to the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov, neither one nor the other option is favorable, since the danger of shells with depleted uranium has been proven. American soldiers are filing lawsuits en masse after the health damage caused by such munitions and winning court cases.

Prior to this, Grossi had stated that depleted uranium projectiles did not pose a radiological hazard, and this issue had been studied at the IAEA for quite some time. He added that the issue of using depleted uranium projectiles does not directly concern the areas that the IAEA deals with.
