Former adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich said that the country cannot produce the mortars that the army needs. His words are quoted by the Strana.ua edition.

“Why, in the 14th month of the war, a country that has a space industry cannot produce mortars? This is a fucking pipe with a stove and a needle that pricks - that's it. And if you take this one case and study it, everything will become clear how we work. Here we cannot produce,” Arestovich complained.

In February, the Ministry of Defense showed an art duel of Russian nomadic mortars with artillerymen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “The main trump card of a wandering fire weapon is the sudden appearance and quick change of position after firing,” the defense department noted.
