In Russia, the legal entity of Electronic Arts (EA), the developer of popular computer games FIFA, Need for Speed, Medal of Honor, The Sims, Battlefield, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Star Wars, Apex Legends, has been liquidated. This is evidenced by the data of the unified state register of legal entities (EGRLE).

Information about the termination of the legal entity through its liquidation means that the company has finally left the Russian market. Electronic Arts has been operating in the country since 2007.

At the beginning of March 2022, the developer announced the suspension of sales of its products in Russia and Belarus against the backdrop of the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine. A similar decision was made by the developer and publisher of video games Ubisoft Entertainment.

At the end of November, it became known that EA products were no longer officially presented in Russia. According to experts, the departure of the company may lead to the fact that in the future projects of the developer there will be no dubbing in Russian.
