The frigate "Admiral Golovko" project 22350 arrived in Severomorsk for factory sea trials and state tests in the Barents Sea. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry, reports TASS.

“Today, a new frigate Admiral Golovko arrived at the main base of the Northern Fleet. The ship will continue the program of factory sea trials and state tests at the fleet’s combat training ranges in the Barents Sea, including testing weapons with test firing, ”the report says.

The Admiral Golovko frigate is the third hull of project 22350. The ships of this project received the 3S14 universal ship firing system, designed to launch Caliber-NK, Oniks and Zircon anti-ship cruise missiles.

In early March, Severnaya Verf reported that the Admiral Golovko would be handed over to the Russian Navy in the second quarter of 2023. The decision on the exact date of the transfer will be made by the Navy Command.

In December 2022, it became known that the Admiral Golovko entered the Baltic Sea ranges for the second stage of factory sea trials.
