China launches Yaogan-34-04 satellite into orbit

China successfully launched the Yaogan-34-04 Earth remote sensing satellite into orbit. This was announced by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), writes TASS.

The carrier rocket "Changzheng-4C" (Long March-4C, CZ-4C) with the apparatus was launched at 14:27 local time (09:27 Moscow time) from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome in Gansu Province. The satellite entered the assigned orbit. The launch was declared successful. It became the 470th for Long March missiles.

The devices of this series are designed for land research, scientific experiments, agricultural production evaluation, as well as for the prevention and mitigation of natural disasters.

Earlier in March, CASC announced that the Horus-2 satellite had been launched into orbit on March 13. The launch was carried out using the carrier rocket "Changzheng-2C".
