Vice-chairman of the Moldovan opposition party "Shor" Marina Tauber challenged Moldovan President Maia Sandu to a duel. This was reported by the press service of the party, reports RIA Novosti.

“Ready to meet in any TV studio at the discretion of Maia Sandu to discuss the pressing problems of citizens, ask questions about the stolen billion and the airport concession,” the press release says.

Tauber believes that Sandu is afraid to answer questions from the opposition, for example, regarding possible risks for Moldova, as well as the danger of a war, into which the ruling regime, according to the politician, is trying to drag the republic.

The day before, President Sandu, during a speech in parliament, said that at the same time the Eurasian vector and integration within the framework of the CIS do not bring proper development to the republic, it is necessary to adhere only to the European course. She promised that by 2030 Moldova would become a member of the EU.
